Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your duties will include administering medication, taking vital signs, assisting with personal care tasks, and documenting patient information.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider
- Assisting patients with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educating patients and their families about health conditions and treatment options
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- Current LPN license in the state of practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Compassion and empathy for patients
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
